A smile has to fit the face it sits in and the life that face walks around in. Perfection is beside the point.
Training and credentials
Dr. Bonifatto earned both his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating in the top 20 percent of his class. He has completed extensive advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry since, and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Society.
Clinical experience
Across nearly a decade of practice he has treated more than 25,000 patients, spanning comprehensive general dentistry, complex restorative cases, and cosmetic smile design. He has practiced in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas, was the highest-producing associate within a large dental group, and later co-owned a private practice in partnership with a venture capital group.
That volume is the point. Tens of thousands of cases is a dataset, and it is what informs every restorative decision he makes now: what holds up at year ten, and what quietly fails at year three.
How he works
Every patient is evaluated individually. Facial features, bite dynamics, existing wear, and personal preference all inform the final design. Nothing is standardized. Nothing is rushed.
- Designed to the face, not to a trend or a template
- Natural tooth structure conserved wherever it can be
- Longevity first: if a technique cannot age well, it is not offered
- Honest answers, including “you do not need that”
- Every case planned and placed personally, never handed off
Recognition and professional voice
Dr. Bonifatto has been recognized locally and nationally, both for clinical work and for how he explains dentistry to the people having it done. He was interviewed by Dentist Magazine in September 2025 on what makes a practice ownership transition work and what quietly makes one fail. Among peers he is known for practical insight on delivering high-quality dentistry in real clinical conditions, with a focus on ethics and on how a case looks at year ten.
Outside the operatory
A Las Vegas native, Dr. Bonifatto lives and works in the community he serves. He values craftsmanship and restraint, and those carry well beyond dentistry into how he approaches health and daily life. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he is committed to a practice environment that is respectful and discreet for every patient who sits in the chair.
Smile transformations are permanent decisions. They deserve time, planning, and a level of care that prioritizes trust over trends.
